The Firm defended a travel technology company against claims by a former employee that he was fired in retaliation for a dispute over sales commissions. Led by litigation associate William H. Newman, the Firm secured a pre-hearing dismissal of one of the claims and then a near complete victory after a three-day virtual arbitration hearing, where a dozen witnesses testified. The arbitrator ultimately held that the client properly terminated the employee and that it did not owe him the disputed commission.
