Jefferson Ferreira Antunes de Souza
Jefferson Ferreira Antunes de Souza is an associate of the Firm with an LL.M. from New York University (NYU Law) in International Taxation. His practice includes strategic income tax and estate tax planning, advice on pre-immigration procedures, structuring of cross-border investment with an emphasis on Latin American multi-jurisdictional families, and structuring foreign investment in U.S. companies and real estate.
Prior to joining Becker Glynn, Mr. Souza practiced law in Brazil for nine years, assisting individuals and corporations in matters of international tax law, including advice on cross-border services agreements, corporate reorganizations, transfer pricing strategies and compliance, voluntary disclosure programs, pre-emigration, and estate planning. Mr. Souza’s previous experience also includes U.S. corporate tax compliance, and cross-border M&A transactions with U.S. multinational conglomerates.
